The Officers asked Plaintiff for identification, and he complied. The Officers then asked Plaintiff to step out of the vehicle, but before he could do so they grabbed him and attempted to pull him out of the vehicle. Officer Frisina instructed Officer Vecchiarelli to tase Plaintiff. When Officer Vecchiarelli tased Plaintiff, because Plaintiff was still in the vehicle, Plaintiff's foot accidentally hit the accelerator, causing the vehicle to speed forward. Multiple officers then arrested Plaintiff and placed him in handcuffs, despite the fact that Plaintiff at no point committed any crime and no contraband was discovered. Plaintiff was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. While Plaintiff was in custody, defendant Officers falsely claimed that Plaintiff had committed multiple offenses. On June 24, 2022, Plaintiff was arraigned and charged, bail was set, and Plaintiff was taken to Rikers Island. On June 29, 2022, all charges against the Plaintiff were dismissed and sealed.
