The P.O.s had stopped plaintiff as he was walking down the street, and thereafter conducted a search of plaintiff. Approximately 2 hours prior to plaintiff's arrest, a complainant had reported a burglary incident. Surveillance footage reviewed by defendant Sgt. Henderson and Detective Defranco prior to their arrival at the scene of plaintiff's arrest clearly depicted the perpetrator of the burglary; the perpetrator was obviously not plaintiff. Henderson was nonetheless designated the arresting officer. Non-party Detective Lopez further alleged that he recovered a pipe with crack cocaine residue from plaintiff's shoe. Plaintiff was charged with several crimes, including burglary in the 3rd degree and possession of a controlled substance. All charges against plaintiff were dismissed.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=Igq5OIBm2GnUuYdERhPsUw==","type":"complaint"}]},{"name":"Carvajal, Francisco Estate By Carvajal, Francisco Jr. vs City of New York, et al.","start_date":"2015-12-18","disposition_date":"2016-09-30","payout_amount":0,"disposition":"Zero Disposition","docket":"515199/2015","court":"Supreme Court - Kings","officer_name":"Henderson, John","summary":"On September 29, 2014 Det. After Plaintiff did so Plaintiff ran into the apartment and struggled with the individual inside, who was wielding a knife. Though exact circumstances are unclear due to multiple, varying, self-serving accounts from the NYPD, at some point POs opened fire and killed both Plaintiff and the individual. Decedent was outside of his friend's apartment when POs John and Jane Does arrived and asked Decedent, a former body builder, to break down the door to his friend's apartment. Decedent did so and entered the apartment, an active crime scene, along with POs. POs then fired dozens of shots inside Decedent's friend's apartment, killing her ex-boyfriend and killing Decedent with a gun shot wound to his back. POs failed to administer adequate medical aid to Decedent. Sgt. Golden was one of the supervisors on scene to respond to the shooting. After the shooting PO Erin Frawley, Sgt. John Henderson, Sgt. Tsang, Sgt. Golden, Sgt. Chisholm, Det. Louis Yero, and other POs conspired to lie to Decedent's family about the nature of his death. Specifically, they fabricated an official complaint report which stated Decedent was stabbed by the ex-boyfriend and succumbed to this injury. However, on October 1, 2014 the medical examiner concluded Decedent had not sustained any stab wounds and instead died of one gunshot wound to the back. Decedent suffered severe physical injuries resulting in death, pre-death pain, and emotional and psychological distress and horror as a result of this incident. Decedent is survived by four children, and provided financial support for some or all of his children, who now suffer pecuniary damages as a result of this incident.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=VTIPfg6XLg8/zyLJAgayBw==","type":"complaint"}]},{"officer_name":"Henderson, John","disposition":"Settlement","start_date":"2012-12-18","disposition_date":"2014-03-14","court":"U.S. District Court - Eastern District NY","docket":"12CV06065","name":"Robb, Napthali, et Al vs City of New York, et al.","payout_amount":45000,"documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/4928012-Robb-et-al-v-City-of-New-York-et-al"},{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/4928013-Robb-et-al-v-City-of-New-York-et-al"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/4543411/robb-v-city-of-new-york/"},{"name":"Carvajal v.
