Defendant NYPD officers arrived to the scene and when Plaintiff saw them, Plaintiff approached with both of his hands raised in the air to show that he didn't pose a threat to anyone. The officers didnt say anything but just grabbed Plaintiff, slammed him into the ground face and chest first. Plaintiff suffered bruising and scarring to his head and had a broken right hand and left finger. Plaintiff told the officers that he lived at the location, yet he was arrested anyway without the officers asking for identification. Plaintiff was taken to PSA 2 and to Brooklyn Central Booking. Plaintiff was held in custody for 3 days and was released on supervised release. Plaintiff was prosecuted and compelled to appear in Court. Plaintiff was released and sought medical treatment at Interfaith Hospital, where he had surgery for his broken hand and finger. The charges against Plaintiff were dismissed. Nocerino (#491), John Doe, and Jane Doe arrested David White without cause and charged him with various crimes including loitering. The officers arrested Mr. White and tightly handcuffed him. Mr. White told the officers that the handcuffs were hurting him and pleaded with them to loosen the handcuffs. The officers then gave false testimony to the District Attorney, who prosecuted Mr. White.
