The defendants unlawfully questioned the plaintiff and unlawfully entered the vehicle without his consent. The plaintiff was also subject to an illegal search that resulted in him being falsely accused of possessing a firearm and fitting the description of another suspect. Mohan was subjected to physical violence in order to be handcuffed. The defendants also subject to incarceration punishments such a strip searches and cavity checks. Subsequently, Mohan was eventually vindicated on of all the charges against him.\n\nOn September 19, 2017, Plaintiff Ortiz was inside his apartment when Defendants NYPD Officers John Doe or Jane Doe 1-10 illegally entered the apartment claiming Mr. Ortiz fit the description of a shooting suspect. Defendants followed this act by unlawfully questioning and searching his apartment. The officers falsely accused Ortiz of attempted manslaughter, attempted murder, and reckless endangerment. Ortiz was also violently grabbed and placed under arrest where he was subject to substantial pain and discomfort from the excessively tight handcuffs. The officers knowingly affirmed the truth of fabricated allegations against Ortiz.
