At around this time, plaintiff received a call from her partner that he was being arrested nearby and that the officers were becoming increasingly aggressive. Plaintiff went to the scene and began to record the interaction between the defendant officers and her partner. Defendant officer Anthony Caravana told plaintiff to stop recording and not to touch their vehicle, even if plaintiff has never touched it. As plaintiff continued recording, officer Caravana shoved her in her chest using both hands to grope her breasts. She was then punched in the face and taken to the ground. Plaintiff was thereafter transported to the precinct, and being conducted to a hospital, she was treated for a fractured left middle finger, a facial contusion and a right knee abrasion. Police officers falsely reported that defendant was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. All charges were dismissed.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=cqRx0Ey/RcUmBE7Bqq5Dpg==","type":"complaint"}]}],"discipline":[{"disposition_date":"2023-07-18","case_no":"2023-28051","penalty":"B - Command Discipline, vacation days (1 day)","recommendation":"Command Discipline - B","allegations":[{"desc":"Wrongfully searched a vehicle"},{"desc":"Wrongfully searched an individual known to the Department."}]},{"disposition_date":"2022-10-10","case_no":"2022-26715","penalty":"A - Command Discipline","recommendation":"Command Discipline - A","allegations":[{"desc":"Wrongfully stopped an individual known to the Department."}]},{"disposition_date":"2022-08-02","case_no":"2022-25452","recommendation":"Command Discipline - B","allegations":[{"desc":"Failed to obtain medical treatment."},{"desc":"Wrongfully discourteous to an individual known to the Department."}]}],"image":"https://www.50-a.org/images/officer/96W3-anthony-caravana.jpg","payroll":{"salary":"109352","regular":"108510","overtime":"36154","other":"23846","total":"168510"},"id":"96W3","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/96W3"}
