She was arrested, taken to a precinct, then Manhattan Central Booking. At arraignment Plaintiff learned she was being falsely accused of gun trafficking. Plaintiff was then remanded to the custody of the Department of Correction for approximately two years, including Rikers, until a jury acquitted her of all criminal charges on or about January 30, 2018. \n\nUndercover Officer (CO 180), Det. Christopher Shaughnessy, Lt. Thomas McPartland, John and Jane Doe 1-10 intentionally provided false allegations to the District Attorney's office in order to commence the criminal prosecution against her, and they further fabricated testimony and evidence presented to the grand jury and during the criminal trial. As a result of this incident Plaintiff became extremely depressed, lost her job, and required mental health treatment including weekly therapy sessions for the duration of Plaintiff's time at Rikers.
