The Plaintiff leaned on the door to prevent them entering the apartment to protect the children inside.  The officers entered by force, throwing her to the ground and causing injuries to her wrists and feet. They then handcuffed and arrested her. A male suspect who was fleeing the police had entered the apartment. However, plaintiff was unaware of this. \nShe was then transported to the 44th Precinct where she was subjected to a strip search where nothing illegal was recovered and placed in a holding cell with other female prisoners. After several hours she was transported to Bronx County Central Booking at 215 E. 161st St. Bronx, NY, where she was held in a cell with other female prisoners for several hours.
