Mr. Murray later died in the hospital. \n\nOn arrival of NYPD, Officer Cortez is heard on body cam making false statements about Plaintiff to other officers. Officer Cortez fabricated a confession in their written report. Officer Miah was aware of fabricated statements. Plaintiff was arrested, jailed, and prosecuted based on fabricated testimony. Plaintiff was charged the second degree murder. All charges were dismissed.
