During its course two arrests were made and Plaintiff signed a complaint charging them with possession of narcotics. Plaintiff testified at both the grand jury and pre-trial hearings. The cases were ultimately dismissed. On or about April 30, 2014, approximately 4 years after Plaintiff's testimony, Plaintiff was arrested by Lt Adam Ramos, Sgt. Wilbert Crawley, Det. Michael Corbett, Lt. Louron Hall, and POs John/Jane Does 1-10. Plaintiff was charged with perjury and was required to make approximately 12 court appearances before all charges were dismissed due to lack of evidence. POs suppressed evidence in order to obtain a grand jury indictment, knowing the case was meritless, and one or more of the POs falsely testified at the grand jury to perpetuate the malicious prosecution. Plaintiff suffered physical, mental, emotional, and economic injuries, trauma, humiliation, terror, damage to reputation, and other psychological injuries as a result of this incident.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=jE7G/nYicNXrn6FAO1ytdw==","type":"complaint"}]},{"name":"Salim, Said vs City of New York, et al.","start_date":"2015-11-17","disposition_date":"2016-12-22","payout_amount":0,"disposition":"Zero Disposition","docket":"15CV08521","court":"U.S. District Court - Southern District NY","officer_name":"Ramos, Adam","summary":"Plaintiff is a detective who was arrested for official misconduct, making a false written statement, and offering a false instrument after his testimony against someone he arrested as an undercover.
