While Jones and other family members waited around the morgue, Police Officers Holmes and Lin arrived and attempted to bar Plaintiff from the area, only allowing immediate family. Plaintiff attempted to go and receive doctor's permission, but Holmes pushed him. Plaintiff put up his hands and officer Lin and Holmes slammed him against a wall and punched him about the face and body, to which Plaintiff lost consciousness. The officers arrested Plaintiff, and processed him for 1 1/5 hours at the 48th precinct. Plaintiff injuries were so severe he was brought to Lincoln Hospital.
