Plaintiff informed them her mother was mentally ill, and then left for her stairwell. As Plaintiff passed two officers, one of them struck her head from behind. Defendant Officer Mitchell Atiles began dragging her by her hair while kicking her. Other officers watched and berated the Plaintiff. Plaintiff was cuffed and thrown into the back of a police SUV with her mother and held there for approximately 5 hours. The Plaintiff was eventually taken to the 33rd Precinct where she was handcuffed to a bench. There she was interrogated and offered $100 and cigarettes to inform on her neighbors. After four additional hours she was released with a desk ticket false attested to by Defendant Officer Atiles for disorderly conduct. Plaintiff attended three hearings before the prosecution moved to dismiss the ticket.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.407861/gov.uscourts.nysd.407861.1.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/12963191/chiclana-v-the-city-of-new-york/"}],"documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/24441170-bronx-notified-officers-list-edited_redacted-redacted_redacted","type":"credibility-finding"}],"news":[{"title":"A Protest.
