They tightly handcuffed the Plaintiff, causing him significant pain and numbness. An illegal search of the premises was conducted and the Plaintiff was forcibly taken to NYPD-79th Precinct, where he suffered illegal searches and lengthy interrogation based on falsified police reports that ultimately resulted in criminal charges. The false charges were eventually dismissed on or about December 1, 2021. \n\nOn April 28, 2021, Officers Kelly, John Doe and Jane Doe #1-16 rearrested the Plaintiff at NYPD-79th Precinct. The Plaintiff was tightly handcuffed and subjected to illegal searches before being forcibly transported to NYPD-73rd Precinct. Further unlawful searches were conducted, and the Plaintiff faced misleading charges at Central Booking. The Plaintiff’s inability to post bail led to his incarceration until, on or around, June 22, 2021, when the false charges were dismissed. \n\nOn June 30, 2021, Officers Brucato, John Doe and Jane Doe #1-16, unlawfully entered the Plaintiff’s home without a warrant. They forcibly entered the premises, causing property damage. Upon entering, they immediately rushed towards the Plaintiff with their guns directly pointed at him yelling, grabbing, pushing, shoving, and pulling him in the process. They tightly handcuffed the Plaintiff, causing him significant pain and numbness. An illegal search was conducted then the Plaintiff was forcibly taken to the NYPD-75th Precinct, where unlawful searches and a lengthy interrogation were conducted. The Plaintiff faced misleading charges at Central Booking. The false charges were eventually dismissed on or about December 1, 2021. \n\nThe misconduct extended beyond the arrests, Officer Brucato, Officer Doyle, Officer Kelly John Doe and Jane Doe #1-16 engaged in multiple instances, including, but not limited to, several dates prior to April 27, 2021, and on April 27, 2021 and June 30, 2021, of surveillance and harassment against the Plaintiff and his family. In total, 22 identified and 20 unidentified defendant police officers participated in these raids.\n\nInstances of surveillance, harassment, bullying, and intimidation took place both inside and outside of the residence; these instances included acts such as repeatedly banging on the plaintiffs’ windows and entrance door, maintaining a heavy police presence in and around the plaintiffs’ home, and forced entry and search of the premises without warrant. Instead, these defendants assisted in taking the Plaintiff into custody.\n\nAt the precinct, the Police Defendants falsely informed members of the Kings County District Attorney's Office that they had observed Plaintiff\ncommitting various crimes. The Plaintiff was taken from the police precinct to Brooklyn Central Booking.
