After spending time with the friend, plaintiff’s boyfriend and the father of her children, Johnson, drove to the location to pick them up and drive them home. Upon arrival, Johnson legally parked his vehicle and waited for plaintiff and the children to join him. Defendant officers pulled up behind Johnson’s vehicle. Defendants exited their police vehicle and approached Johnson. Defendants interrogated Johnson asking several questions including, what he was doing at the location. Johnson calmly answered the questions and informed defendants he was waiting for his family. Defendants directed Johnson to hand over his state issued ID to them. Defendants directed Johnson to exit the vehicle so he could be handcuffed and he and his vehicle searched. As Johnson continued to inquire as to what was going on and the reason for his arrest, plaintiff and the children came down to join Johnson. Plaintiff opened the rear passenger door of the car for the children, and the children entered the back seat of the car. As plaintiff attempted to open the front passenger door to enter the car, defendants forcefully grabbed her by her wrist pulling her back. Defendants blocked plaintiff from opening the door or entering the car. Plaintiff inquired as to what was going on. Defendants ignored plaintiff. Plaintiff attempted to record the incident on her cell phone. Defendants forcefully snatched away the cell phone from plaintiff and seized her cell phone. Defendants subsequently removed the plaintiff’s children from the vehicle and illegally searched the vehicle damaging it in the process. Defendants’ illegal and warrantless search of the vehicle did not yield any contraband. Plaintiff was arrested and  charged with various crimes. Plaintiff was eventually released from her unlawful detention but was required to return to court to defend false charges against her. On April 28, 2021, the false charges against plaintiff were dismissed and sealed. The New York City Civilian Review Complaint Board reviewed defendant officers conduct and substantiated most of the allegations against them. Then they forcibly grabbed him, tightly handcuffed him, and began to illegally search the plaintiff and his vehicle, damaging the vehicle in the process. No contraband was found. The defendants transported the plaintiff to the precinct and subjected plaintiff to another unlawful search. The false changes were eventually dismissed and sealed on September 15, 2020. \n\nOn October 18, 2021, plaintiff was driving to his children's school to pick them up. As he made a left turn at an intersection, a second group of officers turned on their sirens and pulled him over. They ultimately directed plaintiff to step outside, opened plaintiff's door, forcibly grabbed the plaintiff and pulled him out of his vehicle. They then tightly handcuffed plaintiff and transported him to the precinct, where they subjected him to an illegal search. No contraband was yielded. They further assaulted the plaintiff by forcibly pushing him into the cell, as a result of which, plaintiff became sick and requested to be sent to the hospital, but this request was denied until plaintiff's condition worsened. \n\nThe second group of defendants provided false charges, records, and statements.
