Defendants improperly arrested Plaintiff, without any reasonable suspicion and/or probable cause or factual basis, without a warrant. Plaintiff was searched, seized, detained, arrested, handcuffed and transported to the 6th Precinct for the offenses of possession and using cocaine. Plaintiff was held against his will and without his consent following the arrest for over 24 hours as he went through the system until he saw the judge. He was thereafter detained and held on bail and remained incarcerated until the charges were dismissed and he was released over 10 days later on February 27, 2012.
