Plaintiff asked who it was and they replied they were firemen and that there was a leak in his kitchen. Plaintiff, confused, stated that he would check for a leak in his kitchen himself because he was not fully clothed. The people then tried to force open the door with an object, and plaintiff shouted at them to stop. They then took the hinges off the door and forced it open, revealing that they were P.Os Shareka Henry, Joi Grant, and one unnamed officer. They grabbed plaintiff, injuring his hand by bending his fingers back. Another officer twisted plaintiff's arm behind his back, and they bent both of his elbows causing them to pop. They then pulled him into the hallway and forced him to the floor outside of his apartment. One officer stamped on his foot while another one planted her knee into his shoulders, neck, face, and arms. Plaintiff was in pain and shouted for them to stop. He was then handcuffed tightly, causing him pain. He told them his cuffs were too tight and officers refused to loosen them. He sat in the hallway in only his underpants with handcuffs for 20 minutes. He was then dressed and taken to the hospital. In the ambulance, P.O. Henry asked plaintiff whether he would like to go to dinner with her and what size his bed was. At the hospital, he was admitted and the officers removed his cuffs and left the hospital.
