The defendants then tightly handcuffed Mr. Gontrand and ignored his pleas to loosen then handcuffs when he complained they were too tight, which caused him substantial pain and discomfort.\n\nThe defendants then transported Mr. Gontrand to the 75th Precinct and illegally interrogated him. While he was in custody, the defendant, Officer Bhuiyan signed a supporting deposition in which he falsely swore that he observed Mr. Gontrand criminally possessing a weapon. The defendants were aware that Mr. Gontrand was on parole at the time of his unlawful arrest and that it would violate the conditions of his parole and he would be incarcerated again.
