On the way to the precinct, a drunk driver (Anthony McClendon), who was driving a rental car from Enterprise, ran a red light and struck the police vehicle. Plaintiff's body bounced from he right side to the left side, causing his head and left side of his face to hit the divider side of the car. His neck also jerked and felt like it \"snapped.\" He also hurt his back due to the lack of seatbelt and because he was handcuffed during the accident.  He also hurt his right knee.
