Plaintiffs were subsequently placed in an NYPD vehicle and transported to the NYPD 73rd Precinct, where they were booked and processed on false charges and unlawfully detained for several hours. Plaintiffs were then transported to Kings County Central Booking. Kings County District Attorney’s Office declined prosecution of the plaintiffs after reviewing the defendants’ false allegations. Defendants who were present but not active participants failed to intervene to prevent said violations. Plaintiffs were subjected to excessive force and suffered physical injuries and emotional distress. Further, on November 22, 2019, one of the plaintiff was subjected to further incarceration due to the false claims against him arising from the incident on November 21, 2019, when his parole was violated due to the aforementioned false allegations.
