The POs provided the Bronx District Attorney's office with false evidence, causing them to prosecute Plaintiff without probable cause. After his arraignment on May 29, 2020, Plaintiff was initially unable to post bail, so he continued to be unlawfully detained until he paid a bail bondsman and was released from custody on June 8, 2020. However, on June 12, 2020, he was rearrested based on the same false allegations made by the POs. After arraignment in the Southern District of New York, Plaintiff was detained until December 18, 2020, when he was subject to house arrest with an ankle bracelet. He remained unlawfully confined there until the prosecution against him concluded on April 8, 2021.
