Hughes falsely identified Plaintiff as a match for a rendering of a robber on a \"wanted\" poster, even though he did not match the robber in height, passed the info on to Eddie, who also ignored the lack of a match, who passed the info onto Garrity, who, in arresting Plaintiff, not only ignored the lack of a match but also ignored Plaintiff's denial that he was involved in any crime. At the precinct, Derienzo confirmed Plaintiff's alibi for the robberies and falsely listed Plaintiff's height in arresting papers to match that listed on the wanted poster. Later, Derienzo would withhold exculpatory information from a grand jury, including the fact that two witnesses did not identify Plaintiff in a lineup. Further, at trial, Derienzo and Garrity falsified evidence, testifying falsely that the Plaintiff confirmed to them that he was the man on the \"wanted\" poster.
