Despite lacking reasonable suspicion or probable cause to believe Plaintiff committed any crimes, Officers unlawfully stopped and searched Plaintiff. Officers then placed Plaintiff in handcuffs and under arrest without lawful justification. When Officers, including PO Sanchez, transported Plaintiff to the police precinct, they falsely informed the DA's Office that Plaintiff committed various crimes. Plaintiff remained in custody prior to arraignment and again prior to release. On or about November 18, 2021 Plaintiff's criminal case was dismissed.
