Plaintiffs were taken from the car and placed under arrest, and Plaintiffs' persons and the vehicle were searched without Plaintiffs' consent or any other lawful basis. No contraband or evidence of criminal activity was discovered in the unlawful search. Plaintiffs were taken to a police precinct where defendant officers falsely informed employees of the Kings County District Attorney's Office that they had observed the plaintiffs obstruct governmental administration and one of the plaintiffs tamper with evidence (a felony), and prepared false paperwork regarding the circumstances of plaintiffs' arrests. Plaintiffs were arraigned and released after approximately 28 hours in custody. All charges were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.359137/gov.uscourts.nyed.359137.1.0.pdf","type":"complaint"},{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/4920197-Bey-et-al-v-Viera-et-al"},{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/4920199-Bey-et-al-v-Viera-et-al"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/13139524/bey-v-viera/"},{"name":"Cedeno, Darryl vs P.O. Subsequently, plaintiff was assaulted by multiple defendant officers; some held him down while others struck him with closed fists and batons to his head, legs, and groin area.\n\nPlaintiff was then taken to the 77th Precinct, where the defendants falsely informed the Kings County District Attorney's Office that they observed plaintiff commit various crimes. He was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the incident, including receiving 10 stitches to his right shin. \n He was returned to the 77th Precinct, and thereafter, underwent multiple transfers between Kings County Central Booking, where he was arraigned, and the hospital for continued treatment.
