Defendant police personnel John or Jane Doe 1-20 attempted to dissuade him from making the complaint and when he insisted on doing so as a matter of right, they told him he was trespassing and had to leave.  Despite plaintiff not exhibiting any belligerence, the officers became irate and grabbed him.  One placed him in a chokehold and slammed him to the floor and did not release the chokehold until urged to do so by another officer.  He was falsely accused of criminal trespass, made to submit to an illegal search and placed in overly tight handcuffs, resulting in contusions, swelling and loss of feeing.  The was also falsely accused of being in possession of an illegal gravity knife and resisting arrest.  He was held for 26 hours before release.
