When Defendant Stanton harassed the protestors and taunted them with his police connections, Plaintiff called 911 twice to get assistance. Three police cars appeared during the incident. After the second car arrived, each containing two unnamed NYPD officers, Defendant Stanton slowly moved his car toward the protestors and hit Plaintiff from behind. Plaintiff called out to the police in the second NYPD police car for aid, but they failed to respond in any way. After the third car arrived, with another two officers, the unnamed officers talked to Defendant Stanton and let him go before telling Plaintiff that there would be no police report filed. Shortly after these events, Plaintiff started feeling unwell at a restaurant and people called an ambulance for him to get assistance. The officers from the third NYPD car also appeared and obstructed Plaintiff's attempts to get medical attention, saying the ambulance would not leave until their supervisor arrived.
