While in the police vehicle, the defendant officers repeatedly punched Spencer in the head. \n\nOnce Spencer arrived at the precinct, he requested medical treatment and paramedics arrived and transported him to the hospital to treat lacerations to his head. Spencer was then transported to booking. The defendant police officers falsely accused Spencer of taking part in an alleged drug sale. After 24 hours, Spencer was released and charged with marijuana offenses.
