Defendants Giannini and Harris then falsely accused Plaintiffs of a criminal offense and proceeded to violently contort their arms behind their backs so they could apply metal handcuffs all the while disregarding Plaintiffs’ complaints that the cuffs were placed on too tightly causing them significant discomfort and pain. Defendants Giannini and Harris then proceeded to conduct an illegal search of Plaintiffs’ persons by aggressively rifling through their clothing, as well as an illegal search of the bedroom, ultimately recovering no contraband.
