The officers had no valid arrest warrant, probable cause, or reasonable cause to approach, stop, search, seize, touch, grab, assault, batter, violate, handcuff, and detain both Plaintiffs in such an aggressive, offensive, and excessive manner. Defendants' aggressive and excessive behavior towards the Plaintiffs indicated to them that the Defendants could cause the Plaintiffs imminent harm and/or commit offensive body contact towards them. Upon arresting the Plaintiffs, the Defendants took them to a police station in the Bronx and put them in the NYPD's arrest records. Defendants then fingerprinted, photographed, and detained both Plaintiffs without their consent at several police stations, correctional facilities, and at the courthouse located at 215 East 161st Street, Bronx, NY. \n\nAfterwards, Defendants arraigned both Plaintiffs after their arrests. Defendants provided the Bronx County District Attorney's Office with false information to maliciously prosecute the Plaintiffs for crimes they did not commit and were arraigned after their arrest. Because of the Defendants' actions towards the Plaintiffs on February 20th, 2023, the Defendants deprived the Plaintiffs of their liberty for some time and subjected them to scorn, ridicule, embarrassment, and degradation of their esteem in their communities personally and professionally. Furthermore, both Plaintiffs suffered injuries to their heads, necks, backs, bodies, and limbs, suffered conscious pain and suffering/other damages, and were rendered sick, sore, lame, and disabled due to severe, serious, and permanent bodily injuries. Both Plaintiffs are incurring medical expenses rendered to cure themselves of their injuries and are unable to attend to their usual occupations and duties due to such injuries.
