NYPD officers pushed the pregnant Plaintiff Jeanna John, causing her to fall and fear for her baby’s health.  \n\nPlaintiff Jeremie Holder, was lawfully present in his car when Defendant Duran reached through the window, and grabbed his thumb, breaking it, then forcibly removed Holder, handcuffed and arrested him.  \n\nPlaintiff  Neilsen John was inside the premises where he also lives.  While using his cell phone to video record the defendants’ attack on plaintiff Holder, Defendant officers including O’Connor approached Plaintiff Holder, pushed him to the ground and took his phone.  Although the Defendants took the phone, it was never logged into custody or returned.\n\nDespite an absence of wrongdoing, NYPD officers searched and arrested Plaintiffs Neilsen John and Jeremie Holder, but found no illegal material.  These Plaintiffs were taken to the 107th Precinct, and then Queens County Central Booking where they were the subject of false criminal complaints.   Plaintiff Holder’s charges were dismissed at his arraignment and he was released from custody.
