At the hospital, Defendants falsely told physicians Plaintiff Husband was drunk and sustained his head injuries by banging his head on the wall. Defendant Officers falsely told the Kings County District Attorney's Office that Plaintiff Husband assaulted his wife, threatened to kill innocent bystanders, was in possession of a weapon, and resisted a lawful arrest.
