When the Defendant NYPD police officers arrived, they falsely accused Plaintiff of assaulting the woman. The officers proceeded to  assault, search, and falsely arrest Plaintiff. During the arrest, the officers violently contorted Plaintiff's arms and wrists behind his back before applying metal handcuffs in an excessively tight fashion, injuring Plaintiff. Plaintiff was then taken to a precinct and then transferred to Rikers Island for about 29 hours until his release on or about October 26, 2023. The officers also fabricated evidence which caused Plaintiff to be maliciously prosecuted for crimes he was innocent of.
