At the precinct she was taken to, the plaintiff was subjected to an unauthorized search. The plaintiff was taken in cuffs and shackles to a hospital for medical attention. The assault and battery was without probable cause and occurred during an arrest without probable cause, based neither on reasonable grounds nor arrest warrant. The police officers also created and submitted a false police report to cover up the assault and battery and initiate a prosecution in bad faith.
