Larvelle witnessed officers destroying property in the apartment before he was unlawfully arrested and transported to the 73rd precinct. After approximately 24 hours in custody, he was released with no charges filed against him. Plaintiff Ivanta Bell-Simon was handcuffed in the apartment for approximately 2 hours, taken to the 73rd precinct, and detained in a cell for approximately 13 hours.
