Plaintiff recognized one of the officers from his previous arrest who is believed to be said supervisor interested in Plaintiff. Defendant Officers unlawfully questioned Plaintiff regarding illegal activity, despite possessing no valid reason to inquire, as no criminal activity was present or even reasonably suspected. Defendant Officers then proceeded to grab Plaintiff by the arms and torso and remove his pants and other articles of clothing on the public street in full view of passerby's. Defendant Officers physically restrained and handcuffing them resulting in substantial pain and discomfort. Defendant Officers searched Plaintiff and retrieved several Metro cards, and used this to fabricate their observations justifying an illegal search and seizure, namely that Plaintiff possessed a Metro card that was bent in a way as to allow free passage on the train which they knew to be false. Plaintiff was transported to the precinct, where Defendant Officers proceeded to criminally process plaintiff and forward the fabricated evidence that he was in possession of a forged Metro card. Plaintiff was maliciously prosecuted on these charges until the criminal proceedings were terminated in favor of Plaintiff on October 23, 2019.","documents":[{"url":"https://web.archive.org/web/20240719173220/https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=S5i6NQedUe2tA8XwJ53ieg==","type":"complaint"}]},{"name":"Ramos, Miguel vs City of New York, et al.","start_date":"2018-06-22","disposition_date":"2020-07-16","payout_amount":0,"disposition":"Zero Disposition","docket":"18CV04938","court":"U.S. District Court - Southern District NY","officer_name":"Gandolfi, Frank","summary":"Around 8:30 am on May 16, 2016, Mr. Ramos exited the subway train, was detained and arrested, and was charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse.
