Defendant officers violently contorted his arms and wrists behind his back and applied excessively tightened metal handcuffs, causing pain and discomfort. Defendant Solomon signed and forwarded the criminal court complaint to the District Attorney's Office, in which they knowingly affirmed the truth of fabricated allegations against Mr. Kinsey by Defendant Pinney. Mr. Kinsey was detained over the course of approximately three days, until his release from physical custody on May 14, 2022. Defendants were looking for someone in the investigation of a kidnapping of a mother and her daughter. Defendant Morales-Bell prevented plaintiff from closing the door to his apartment and stepped inside along with Defendant Morales despite the lack of a warrant. Defendant Morales-Bell threatened the plaintiff by moving towards her gun after he told her three times he would not go with the detectives to the police station. Plaintiff then complied with the detectives' order that he accompany them to the police station, where Detective Morales denied his request to call his lawyer. Plaintiff did not correspond to the suspect sketch the detectives had of a younger man standing about 6 feet tall, as plaintiff was about 5'3 3/4\".
