Claimant was released after a brief detention. About 2 weeks later, Mastrokostas approached claimant while on duty and in his patrol car and requested her phone number, which she gave to him. \n\nOn or about August 2006, Mastrokostas approached claimant while on duty and in his patrol car and directed her to get inside. He then drove to another location and began kissing claimant. About one week later, Mastrokostas contacted claimant at her home and picked her up outside, while on duty, and drove her to an empty parking lot, where he raped her. This pattern continued until August 17, 2010, where Mastrokostas would direct claimant to his patrol car while he was on duty and drive her to the same location, where he would rape her. On August 17, 2010, claimant approached NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau and reported the rapes. \n\nIn retaliation, Mastrokostas and members of the 70th precinct began harrassing claimant and her mother, including performing a traffic stock where they handcuffed and searched them.
