More specifically, he was arrested for assault and harassment by police officer John Digiaimo, unidentified police officer (John Doe 1) and unidentified police officers (John Does 2-12). \n\nPlaintiff had been engaged in a (physical) dispute with a certain Mr. Said, upon which both plaintiff and Mr. Said were arrested. Video surveillance existed inside the restaurant but officers made no attempt to view it before or after arresting plaintiff. Officers did not interview any witnesses to the altercation, who would have verified plaintiff's version of events. Due to the foregoing, plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately 24 hours.
