Plaintiff was transported to Jamaica Hospital and remained in police custody until he was released on November 1, 2016. On November 3, 2016, officers kicked open the door leading into plaintiffs’ (Christian and Maushea Achee) residence without warning and assaulted them. An officer grabbed Maushea's arms, handcuffed her in an overly tight manner, pushed her onto the floor, and put his foot on her neck. Despite having a large wound, Maushea was not offered medical treatment.
