Plaintiff complied and called his mother, a police officer, upon exiting. POs then asked Plaintiff for his ID. Plaintiff opened his backpack to retrieve it but before he could POs grabbed Plaintiff and forcibly thew him to the ground, severely injuring Plaintiff's knees and back. Plaintiff was then handcuffed without legal justification and filmed by multiple bystanders. \n\nPlaintiff was transported to the 103rd Precinct where he was criminally processed and detained. While detained Plaintiff continually asked for medical attention due to injuries incurred by the assault but the POs refused. After being held for 4 hours Plaintiff's mother, a police officer, arrived. At that point Plaintiff was released without charges. Upon release Plaintiff went to the emergency room for treatment of his injuries.
