The protestors were aggressively shouting at plaintiff so plaintiff shouted back and left the park.  Plaintiff then got in a dispute with more protestors outside the park.  Captain Christopher Treubig approached plaintiff from behind, grabbed plaintiff, and punched him in the head.  Lt. Paul Jurgens, P.O. Terence Williams, P.O. Paul Rivera, and P.O. Stephen Cambria arrived at the scene and forced plaintiff to the ground.  The officers held plaintiff down by his arms, legs, and upper body and Captain Treubig repeatedly punched plaintiff in the head.  All the officers continued to repeatedly punch plaintiff in the head and torso.  P.O. Rivera then kicked plaintiff multiple times in the ribs.  They handcuffed plaintiff extremely tightly, and ignored plaintiff's requests to loosen them.  Plaintiff was treated for extensive injuries in the hospital and then taken to Central Booking where he was charged with assault and resisting arrest. PO Paul Jurgens and PO John Does 1-10 arrived at the premises and asked Plaintiff to step away from the female. While waiting for an ambulance, the female became unconscious. PO Jurgens and PO John Does 1-10 grabbed Plaintiff and carried him outside to the garden area of the premises. PO Jurgens kneed Plaintiff in the chest and struck him in the head, chest, right leg, pelvis, wrist, back, and face. PO Jurgens then placed Plaintiff under arrest and handcuffed him. While on the ground, Emergency Medical Technicians arrived at the scene for the female and advised PO Jurgens and PO John Does 1-10 that Plaintiff was in need of medical attention. Plaintiff was brought to the precinct and treated in the holding cell. Later that same day, Plaintiff was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
