Plaintiff and his friend complied with the POs' demands but the POs approached the vehicle with guns drawn. One of the POs even threatened to shoot Plaintiff; Plaintiff feared for his life. The POs accused Plaintiff of grand larceny because the car belonged to his girlfriend's father, but Plaintiff repeatedly told the POs that he had permission to use the vehicle. The POs arrested Plaintiff, handcuffing his wrists behind his back and using excessive force despite no reason to do so, resulting in Plaintiff suffering swollen wrists and shoulder pain.  \n\nThe POs knowingly and falsely told the District Attorney that Plaintiff had committed a number of crimes, resulting in his being prosecuted. While incarcerated, Plaintiff was attacked by gang members while he was locked in a cell with them.
