The decedent refused to let the officers in. When decedent eventually opened his door but kept the screen door shut, officers forcibly broke it down and physically attacked him. Multiple officers beat the decedent and deployed tasers on him multiple times. The officers threw him to the ground and applied excessive pressure to his body, restricting his airway. Despite the decedent's dire medical situation resulting from the assault, officers did not provide medical aid. The decedent ultimately went into cardiac arrest and died.
