While in the elevator, Plaintiff tried to use his phone to photograph the POs badge number after Officer Ravich banged one of another elevator occupants' heads. PO Pedigo prevented Plaintiff from exiting the elevator, falsely accusing him of bumping PO Ravich. PO Pedigo pushed Plaintiff to the back of the elevator and then PO Ravich pushed Plaintiff out of the elevator. Outside the elevator, PO Pedigo punched Plaintiff on his face, who hit a wall and fell to the ground, causing a 1cm laceration and permanent scar. After being discharged from the hospital, Plaintiff went to the precinct and was in custody for about 24 hours before being released. Plaintiff has just left his father's apartment and was talking to friends outside when defendant officers approached plaintiff and ordered plaintiff to sit on the floor. At the time the officers approached plaintiff he was not engaged in any wrongdoing, unlawful, illegal, or suspicious activity. Plaintiff sat on the floor for half an hour before the defendant officers decided to handcuff plaintiff, despite the absence of evidence of wrongdoing. The plaintiff was transported to PSA 2 precinct, where he was again searched and pedigreed before being placed in a holding cell. Plaintiff was detained in said cell for 20 hours before being transported to criminal court and placed in another cell with other arrestees and no food, water, or adequate restroom facilities. The defendant officers completed paperwork in which they swore in part, that the plaintiff had committed a crime. These claims were known to be materially false at the time they were made, and every time thereafter when they repeated it.
