A few days before that, plaintiff was physically attacked by one of her children and then decided to leave that child at her parent's house for a few days to deescalate.  Earlier on September 20, plaintiff had called 911 to make a complaint about her neighbor stealing her personal property and waited for police offers to arrive to take down the complaint.  Defendants then falsely accused plaintiff of evicting her own child.  They seized plaintiff’s person with their outstretched hands aggressively grabbing her about her head and body before unlawfully searching her person by rifling their hands in and out of plaintiff’s clothing and personal belongings.  Plaintiff then explained to Defendants that she was recovering from recent surgery to repair and heal burn skin tissue of ribs, and because of this, she would suffer incredible pain if she was rear-handcuffed.  Defendants ignored the concerns and then grabbed her about her body and extremities before violently contorting her arms and wrists behind her back and applying excessively tightened metal handcuffs, causing plaintiff to experience excruciating pain, the aggravation of recovering surgery wounds, and discomfort.  Defendants then transported plaintiff to a precinct, where plaintiff was detained for a period of time before being transported to a hospital.  Thereafter, she was transported back to the precinct, where she was fingerprinted, photographed, searched or strip-searched, questioned as to her pedigree, interrogated and detained for a length of time before being transported to Central Booking, from where she was released on September 21, 2021.\nDefendants fabricated allegations and forwarded the criminal court complaint to the DA's office, in which they stated that plaintiff committed the criminal offense of possession and sale of narcotics.
