Defendants then proceeded to stop plaintiff and grabbed him by his body and limbs without any legal basis. Defendants asked plaintiff to show his identification, and when plaintiff inquired the reason for this demand, defendants immediately began striking plaintiff and tackling him to the ground. Plaintiff was then searched and handcuffed with excessive force. Due to the injuries inflicted upon him, plaintiff was transported to a medical center. Plaintiff was then detained over the course of several months. During arraignment, plaintiff was falsely charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
