Without any probale cause or reasonable suspicion, defendants stopped plaintiff and asked him to present his ID and tell them where he was going. When plaintiff declined and attempted to leave, defendants followed him and called for backup. Defendant Officers Michael Marzullo, James Barrett, Nicholas Schneider, Alex Desantis, Kyle Mclernon, and Hernan Contreras joined the others in cornering plaintiff. After several minutes of physically obstructing his path, defendants grabbed plaintiff, handcuffed him, threw him to the ground, and struck him. Plaintiff was then loaded into an ambulance that arrived and sedated.\n\nDefendant officers then jointly provided false information to the Queens DA, which resulted in plaintiff being charged with assaulting a police officer and disorderly conduct. Plaintiff was arraigned and held in custody because he could not afford to pay his bail.
