The officers then conducted an illegal and unwarranted search and seizure of Plaintiff, handcuffed him, placed him under arrest, and falsely charged him with 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Plaintiff was placed into a police van, which drove around excessively and aimlessly for approximately 4 hours. Plaintiff was finally taken to the 61st Police Precinct, where he remained incarcerated for an additional hour until he was released with a court date. The officers intentionally caused and bolstered a malicious criminal prosecution against Plaintiff.
