Then plaintiff transported to the 42nd precinct, processed, and placed into a cell. During the interrogation, defendants told plaintiff that a gun was found hidden inside the side panel next to the driver, although he never saw a gun recovered from the vehicle. While Plaintiff was in custody, the defendants provided the DA with the false, misleading and/or incomplete information that Plaintiff committed a crime. Plaintiff appeared before a judge and bail was set at three thousand dollars, and was remanded to Rikers where he was placed into a cell with approximately fifty people.
