Several other officers entered the cell area and joined in the assault of the plaintiff as well. One of the officers tried to hush the plaintiff from pleading help by covering his mouth with their hand. The assault was caught on camera and revealed at trial. Defendants John Duffy, Falcon, Daniel O'Grady, and Benjamin Bellingeri failed to exercise their command authority to intervene to stop the assault. Due to being pushed by the fencing, and blinded by the deployment of pepper spray by defendants Vega and John Doe \"Second Pepper Spray Officer,\" plaintiff fell to the ground and broke his hand, suffering a spiral fracture.
