Defendant officers pulled over plaintiff's vehicle as they were pulling away.  Officers then proceeded to search each of the four passengers and the vehicle, asking \"where's it at\" to each passenger.  The officers eventually found a small amount of marijuana and arrested all passengers.  At the precinct all four were strip searched (including bending over and \"spreading their cheeks,\" and nothing was found on any of them.  Plaintiffs were each charged with possession of marijuana.  Plaintiff Darrell spent 45 hours in custody before released at arraignment, plaintiff Thornton had bail set and spent five days in jail before being bailed out.  Plaintiff Darrell's case was dismissed on December 12 2012.  Defendant Officer JAIME admitted not seeing any criminality but falsely testified he smelled marijuana and observed marijuana in plain view in the center console; he also falsely testified that he pulled the driver out first.
