Private security employers threw defendant Brian Pineiro to the ground, causing him to hit his head on the pavement. Defendant Gannon then tased plaintiff Brian Pineiro in the chest as he was laying on the ground, causing him serious physical and emotional injuries. An unnamed NYPD defendant officer subsequently tightly handcuffed plaintiff Brian Pineiro. Plaintiff Eduardo Pineiro was thrown to the ground by other defendants, including defendant Skirchak, and then handcuffed and arrested. Defendant Skirchak falsely claimed that plaintiffs had refused to comply with requests to leave the stadium, and had physically interfered with defendant NYPD officers, and submitted false reports and statements to support and corroborate the fabricated charges lodged against plaintiffs. Plaintiffs were held in custody for approximately 30 hours before being charged. All charges against plaintiffs were dropped on October 17, 2016.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=BRxv1nUYY2CkNNGJcAD43g==","type":"complaint"}]},{"name":"Benson, Miles vs City of New York, et al.","start_date":"2017-02-16","disposition_date":"2018-03-27","payout_amount":11401,"disposition":"Settlement","docket":"17CV00823","court":"U.S. District Court - Southern District NY","officer_name":"Skirchak, Helen","summary":"Plaintiff was sitting in a vehicle with a woman when he left and went around the block to get DVDs.
